PR Sherman has worked as a dancer, actress, director, writer and producer in theatre, television and film since she was a teenager. Working under her stage name as Claudia Rae as a theatre producer in New York, she produced Off-Broadway, “Taken in Marriage,” by Thomas Babe, as well as her own plays, “That’s Life and Death” and her one woman show “The Bozo Brigade.” She worked as a programmer and a television producer for PBS, bringing together a multitude of stars in “Swing Alive at the Hollywood Palladium.” She also produced and hosted an alternative healing talk show, “The Feel Good Farm.”
She has written various screenplays and teleplays for the industry, including writing for the Home and Garden Network’s “Surprise Gardener”, a passion she has for gardening.
Over the years she honed her skills as a screenwriter with with Oscar winning writer, Donald Sanford (“Midway”) and Emmy Winner Carl Sautter (“Moonlighting”) Early in her career her screenplay “Hollow” was recognized by NBC in its screenwriting contest.
She is an avid amateur geologist with a large collection of minerals from around the world. She also is a rockhound and adventurer, having traveled around the country to many remote areas looking for gems and minerals.
